Military bases are also found throughout the area, especially San Antonio. Members of the military are often stationed with their families, and they prefer to live on the outskirts of San Antonio and not in the city itself. New Braunfels is an ideal place for military residents to find housing. It’s a huge area for them, and you’ll find that active-duty military members make great residents.
